I’ve finished the distance training for the half marathon. From this point forward, my focus will be on the 3 miles of continuous hill walking I’ll face near the end of the route in Birmingham.  I don’t know if I’ll ever do another half marathon either.  All that made this especially sweet. As hard as I pushed myself, I saw, really saw, how beautiful this place is. It is a good life…

  1. So proud of you girl. I do six miles on the treadmill and can’t wait to get off. I can’t imagine doing seven more. Although, I will say your view is much better than mine!!!

  2. I hope you took a break at the Hustler store, I hear they have a stupendous shoe department. I know you like your flashy shoes :).
Happy to see you enjoying your training, perfect season to do so.

    • You need to come help me find just the right pair. And while we’re at it, since you mention gold lamé skivvies might have to shop for more than shoes!?!
